It’s not revolutionary. It won’t improve your third-shot drop. It won’t add topspin to your drives. And unfortunately, it won’t stop your opponents from targeting your backhand.

What it will do is help keep track of the score.

That’s more valuable than it sounds.

Anyone who plays social pickleball regularly has probably experienced the familiar exchange:

“What’s the score?”

“I thought it was 8-6.”

“No, I think it’s 7-6.”

“Weren’t we receiving?”

At that point, the game turns into a group memory exercise rather than a sporting contest.

A simple score counter eliminates all of that.

No debates. No guessing. No accidental score inflation.

For players who organise social games, coach beginners, or simply struggle with counting while focusing on not popping up the ball, it’s a surprisingly useful little accessory.
